How to check and add wiper fluid levels –
- Park your car on a flat surface. Wait till the car has cooled down for a few minutes.
- Locate the washer fluid reservoir, some may be labeled, if not it’s located at the back of the engine bay.
- Check the level by seeing where it falls on the levels in the tank itself. If the tank is less than half-full, you’ll need to refill the tank.
- To add fluid, unscrew the cap of the tank, next add washer fluid to the reservoir until it reaches the full mark.
- After, close the cap and you should be good
How to change wind shield wipers –
- Make sure you know the size of blades your car needs. You can check the owner’s manual to be sure.
- Lift the wiper blade off your windshield
- Look for a small tab or clip on the wiper blade and press down on it. This is the part that attaches to the arm. Some blades don’t have clips and snap right in, so just find the seam and pull it off if need be.
- After clicking, pull the blade straight down toward the windshield to remove it. This unclips it from the hook, once removed you can trash it.
- At the new wiper blade onto the hook until it clicks into place. Look for a metal adaptor clip on the back of it, rotate the adapter so it’s parallel and hook the end of the wiper arm around the adapter, push the blade up and windshield. You should hear the wiper snap into place. Finally, push the blades back down and you’re done.
